It has been quoted that one night Umar was doing Maghrib prayers with others, but he did not say anything. After finishing of Salaat, people asked him (in some narrations, they asked: 'Did you offered your Salaat in your thought silently?!) Umar answered that he traveled to Damascus in his mind. Of course, later he decided to pray the Salaat again.
If an ordinary imam of Salaat did this action, would you pray behind him again?
(Beihaqi's Sunan Kubra, v.2, p.1382)
If an ordinary imam of Salaat did this action, would you pray behind him again?
