This is not true....He didn't love them...Uthman he named his son cause of his brother Uthman
in our Shi'a text Munthee'ala Mahal Volume 1 under the Chapter "Shahadth" - we read the testimony of Imam 'Ali that he named one of his sons Uthman because on the day he was born he stated:
"I shall name this child after my brother Uthman bin Nat'eoon".
This is why the name Uthman was kept by Imam 'Ali it does not prove Uthman bin Affan's merit, not even in the slightest.
With regards to Imam 'Ali (as)'s son Umar, we should point out that one of Imam 'Ali close Sahaba was Umar the son of Umm'ul momineen Salma . Umar was brought up by Rasulullah (s) and he fought alongside Imam 'Ali at Jamal, and was in fact one of his commanders during that battle. During his reign Imam 'Ali appointed him as Governor over Bahrain and Faris. To prove our point we suggest our opponents consult Asada al Ghaybah Volume 4 page 134 under the letter "Ayn". We assert that Imam 'Ali named his son Umar after this great faithful commander. We are fully aware that the Nasibi will advance some Sunni text claiming that Imam 'Ali named his son Umar after the second khalifa - but an Ahl'ul Sunnah work can not be advanced as evidence to convince us.

Shias have stopped keeping the names on Umar, Abu Bakr and Uthman because these names have now become associated with these Caliphs whom Shias do not consider worthy of Caliphate.
Yazid, Umar , Abu Bakr & Uthman were common names in earlier time and were not associated with these people specifically.
Even names of some companions of Imam Husain were Yazid.

Don't insult Khulfa because they were Companions of our beloved Prophet Mohammad (PEACE BE UPON HIM). Doesn't matter who had good or bad character, it is our duty to respect them. We can't just go on and start ABUSING them? Think about it. The thing is, if Shias keep abusing Khulfa then the day will come when Sunni's will start abusing Hazrat Ali and that is extremely wrong. Shias have not given the title of Maula to Ali(as) .The title of Maula is given by Prophet(sawa) himself.
So it is the responsibility of every muslims ,shias and sunnis, to call Imam Ali(as) with this title as ordered by Holy Prophet(sawa).
You said we should not abuse Khulfa and companions of the Prophet(sawa).
So dear,listen here ,we do not abuse any Khulfa or companions because of their relation with the Prophet(sawa). Nay never and it is strictly prohibited to abuse anybody.
But if Allah has cursed some companions of Prophet(sawa) in Quran because of their attitude towards Prophet(sawa) then what is our responsibility, should we cursed those people who r cursed by Allah or not?????

We love and have great respect for Hazrat Ali R.A same as you. After all he was also loved By our Prophet, we can name our kids "ALI" mashaallah very strong person of his time.
Simple question why do you harm yourself... it we are not allowed to hurt oneslef no matter what! Never did the Prophet P.B.U.H ever hurt himself in the sorrow of losing his beloved children. I'm sure He loved Them more then you love Hazrat Ali (R.A). We sunni can never go against Ali (R.A), Never! As for the rest of the sahabas Abo Bakr, Umar, Uthman have great qualities that's why Allah chose them as The Prophet Muhammad P.B U.H Companions. Everyone close to the Prophet was of the best characters. The Prophet also told Hazrat Fatima if you love me you will love Hazrat Aisha (A.S). In the Quran it's stated the Wives of Our beloved Prophet are the Mother of the believers. For example the friends we hang out with will define us Right? Same way the People Our Prophet was with will define Him. How could He be so close to Abo Bakr that when he travelled he chose him? He prayed of Hazrat Uthman so much that the People left the prohet in ruku and came back in the morning found him in the same way except that his beard was socked with tears. He also gave not ome but two of his daughters to Uthman... and told him if i had 40 daughters I would get them married to you one after another dies. MASHAALLAH!
As for Umar R.A he was so strong in Iman that if the Shaitan saw him coming from one direction he would make a U- turn and change his direction! Mashaallah!
