Sunni Scholar says that Umar ibn khattab knew better than the Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w)

Sunni brothers claims to follow the sunnah, in reality, follow many of umar ibn khattab's bid'ahs such as tarawih etc. But here we see one of their greatest scholar saying the prophet (s.a.w) was wrong and Allah (s.w.t) revealed verses defending Umar.

Is it true that There arent many signs if any that Umar was brave on the battlefield at all .. any proof that he killed so and so many ppl etc? ..
